WOW! Kerrville, thats a long haul going home at night, feels like forever when we go home, and thats just to LaVernia. I am truely amazed sometimes thinking about the distance people will travel to race. Thats when you know you have dedicated people who do it for the enjoyment of RACING. Thanks for th info. missmindy29

Darin, I was sitting in LaVernia, watching the misty rain. HAD I known you were racing somewhere..... LOL...So how was it down there? The brakes on the #29 are all jacked up, AFTER the race last week, Brandon (a.k.a B-Rocket) tells me...."Mom, during the race, sometimes I had brakes, sometimes I didnt" And then Danny tells me, "I was gonna tell you about that ummm brake thing, I think we need to look at that, cause I noticed some loss of power in the brakes" This was AFTER THE BOY RACED!!!!! Oh well, hopefully Danny found the problem. Oh and you might wanna ask Brandon about how well he drives in the mud...Lets just say his fender on his truck is all jacked up thanks to his ability to "DRIVE IN THE MUD" missmindy29

Cassie, No, sorry I wont be driving in Brandons car (lol, lol, Brandons car) My youngest son has a little league game on Friday night that I must take him to. Even if I didnt have the game to go to, I am NIGHT BLIND, and would not feel comfortable putting everyone at risk cause I cant see. Not even sure the car will be ready for Brandon to drive it. Still working on the brake issue. Mindy

Mindy,
Dry, very dry and hot. Started in the back in heat and got 3rd. Then had to start in the back again in the feature and got 6th. By the end of the night it looked like an asphalt track with one groove. It's all rained out at Tri-city 5/11 so ya'll come on down to STS on Saturday and join the fun. Hell, bring the car, put on your street tires and run with the bombers. They'll let you run and it would be real good experience for your new driver. We can even hot lap it after the races are over and work on setup. Get #2 to come down to and he can see what FAST pure stocks look like. I'm trying to find where we can run on Friday up that way.
Later, Darin

Darin, I would like to come down there Sat. but the bombers are not listed as running on the schedule. I do believe we are trying to get my car set up for #2 to run in the Grandstock class at Thunder Hill. Still working on it though.... No Promises... Mindy
