If anyone needs copies of any of the rules (pure, street, super, or general rules) you can go to the front office where you sign in at, and get a copy. Just ask. If not, let me know and i'll email them to you.

hey Cassie, I have a question. I've only raced 7 or 8 races on dirt my entire life. If I bring the truck out and run a couple of times with the street stocks, would I still be able to run in the purestock class when I get my car done? I've heard once you drive something in a higher class, you can't race pures anymore. Is that how it works?

yes, once you've races in a higher class, you can not move back down. but since you've only raced a few, we can possibly make an exception.

Justin Henley only has 2 or 3 street stock races, and 20 total pure stock races under his belt, and He can't run pure stocks anymore... I don't see why there is a rule like that. It should be run whatever class you can afford. I'm buying a pure stock this weekend, and have had starts in the higher classes, will there be a problem with me running pures?

no, it all depends on the driver. you have not races this year, so there will not be a problem. With the other drivers, it all depends on the situation. the pure stock class was made for rookie drivers and/or young drivers. in other situations, some drivers only want or can only afford to race the pure stocks. lets just say if i were to race super stocks, and didn't like it, or couldn't afford it, and wanted to more down in class, i would have to talk with chico, tell him why, and then go from there. we just want it to be fair to everyone.

I didn't really like the rule when I first heard about it but understand why it is a rule. I was worried about running a street stock race or 2 or the truck race (?) on the 25th and then not being able to run my purestock for the remainder of the season.
Thanks for clearing it up! Hope to be racin' next weekend.

The rule sucks... Enough said, I would feel better if I was a beginner to be able to run side by side and beat veterans over other rookies.

I hope so... plan now is to just make some laps and get adjusted to being back in a car, and you're right, it is a great car.
