K-MAC Sports sets new monthly site records in March
(Leander, TX) – K-MAC Sports Productions of Austin revealed that its Web site – www.kmacsports.com - set new monthly records in downloads and in the percentage of the site being added as a “favorite” site in March of 2007.
The kmacsports.com site saw over 13.29 Gigabytes of downloads, marking the first time in the eight months the company has been tracking numbers on the site that the amount of downloads hit double figures in gigabytes.
“The broadcasts from the Pro Cuts Texas World Dirt Track Championships had a lot to do with the numbers, obviously,” stated K-MAC Sports co-owner Chuck Licata. “We had such a great response from the dirt racing community. We seem to be carrying that momentum into the launching of our weekly dirt show, Dirt Track Insider, starting April 21, as we’ve been fortunate to add sponsors to our broadcasts.”
The site saw over 111,000 hits, with 11,319 unique visitors to the site. Among those who visited the kmacsports.com site, over 50 percent (53 percent, to be exact) added the Web site as a “favorite” to their computer. It’s the first time that percentage went over 50 percent for the month.
K-MAC Sports has recently added the Round Rock Express baseball team (Round Rock, TX); Austin Mobile Marine (Austin, TX); Gen-Tech RV Generators (Leander, TX); the Texas Super Racing Series (TSRS, Austin); Orangebloods.com (Austin); and Patty Day Enterprises (Dallas) as sponsors for the 2007 season.
K-MAC Sports broadcasts high school football and baseball, TSRS Late Models races and has partnered with Orangebloods.com for its UT postgame show broadcasts. K-MAC Sports will broadcast live from the upcoming NASCAR weekend at Texas Motor Speedway. All K-MAC Sports broadcasts are available for replay on the site at various times and dates.
