(Leander, TX) – Three more sponsors have been added to the upcoming K-MAC Sports broadcasts of the March 1-3 Pro-Cuts Texas World Dirt Track Championship at the Texas Motor Speedway Dirt Track.
Gen-Tech Sales & Service (Leander, TX), Austin Mobile Marine (Austin, TX) and the Round Rock Express Triple-A baseball team (Round Rock, TX) have been added to the list of sponsors for the K-MAC Sports broadcasts.
All three have also signed on for future sponsorship of K-MAC Sports’ programming for the 2007 season. K-MAC Sports’ broadcasts include auto racing (play-by-play of the TSRS Late Models, live shows from NASCAR events at Texas Motor Speedway, a weekly dirt racing show, among others); and high school athletics (including spring sports from Liberty Hill ISD and football from Liberty Hill, Leander and Round Rock ISDs).
“We’re obviously thrilled to have such a great institution as the Round Rock Express join K-MAC Sports,” said K-MAC Sports co-owner Chuck Licata. “To have one of baseball’s most recognizable and successful operations join us as a business partner gives us a tremendous amount of momentum going into a very busy 2007. Tommy and Teresa Gural run Austin Mobile Marine; those two are both big names in local racing and we feel privileged their joining us in an effort to grow the sport of racing in Texas.”
Licata added, “Gen-Tech is an institution in the Leander area and is ready to expand its client base in the state of Texas. We also applaud all three clients because it’s help like theirs that will bring a great broadcast from TMS – and our future race broadcasts this season.”
The Round Rock Express baseball club is the Triple-A affiliate of the Houston Astros. The club is run by an ownership group that includes legendary baseball pitcher Nolan Ryan, a Hall-of-Famer and Texas icon. Information about the team – including its upcoming season – can be found at the team’s Web site, www.roundrockexpress.com or by calling 512.255.BALL (2255).
Austin Mobile Marine provides onsite boat maintanence and repair services. They specialize in inboard and stern drive and are members of the Better Business Bureau. Austin Mobile Marine can be reached at 512.964.4052.
Gen-Tech Sales & Service is owned by Fred Summers, who’s been in the business for over 30 years in both Austin and Leander.
