Ok..... got a few questions for ya Jr... 94 Ford Bronco 302, we pulled the oil pan because it lost oil pressure, appears as if the oil pump locked up and the shaft twisted and snapped off... I havent pulled the distributor out to pull whats left of the shaft out because someone (Doug) told me the pump was ran off the camshaft.... Is that true, if so how would you prime the pump? have you ever seen a twisted shaft?

The oil pump shaft goes into the bottom end of the distributor & into the top of the oil pump. I haven't seen a shaft that has done that but then again I guess it is possible if the oil pump siezed up. The other end of the shaft should still be stuck in the end of the distributor, that's my guess anyhow <shrug> To prime the pump you use a drill and a special tool (bottom of old distributor shaft). Use this to prime the pump using the oil pump shaft itself. When you have oil at the rocker arms, you're good. Geeze, you done an' gone maked me sound smart or sumpin' I thunk me rite anywho
