Well ladies & gentlemen, the engines have been fired for the "Superbowl of Motorsports" and when the smoke cleared, it was Kevin Harvick in his newly sponsored Shell Childress Racing Chevorlet Monte Carlo SS emerging as the winner.
Mark Martin lead most of the last 30 or so laps and looked to be finally on his way to his 1st win in the 'BIG RACE' but Harvick moved up quickly on the outside on the green, white, checkered restart and beat Martin to the line by .023 of a second.
Pretty good Daytona 500, although I was jumping up and down screaming for Mark to put a door on Harvick before the line... (did I say that out loud?). What do ya'll think?
