31st TPS YEAR IS COMPLETED: With running of the October 28th race at Thunder Hill Raceway, the 2006 Texas Pro Sedan season is completed. Awards will be presented at the TPS Awards Dinner on November 11, Carlos Kelly’s in San Antonio. Special Appreciation, Sponsor & Championship Awards will be presented to 2006 Champion: #70 Donnie Moore and 2006 Rookie of the Year: #4 Joshua Tuttle. We congratulate both TPS drivers. The TPS car count was up and competition quality was excellent. 100% driver participants were: #15 Tom Johnson, #19 Lloyd Hart, #20 Sergio Hexsel, #22 Harry Osburn Jr, #48 Mike Knotts, #70 Donnie Moore, #71 Bruce Mabrito, With 25 cars at the 10th annual SAS “Octoberfast”, TPS had the largest car count of all 8 racing classes. At the THR “Spectacular”, TPS had 21 and tied for largest car count of 11 racing classes.
The 2006 driver list totaled 44 driver/members. It was another good year for the oldest touring series in Texas. We thank those members who were loyal to TPS and participated fairly. I thank all TPS members, drivers, car owners, officials and sponsors for supporting the Texas Pro Sedans during our successful and significant 31st Anniversary Season.
2006 TPS OFFICIALS: Your officials deserve thanks for dedication, patience and hard work during the 2006 season.
The officials were: Neil and Terry Upchurch, Bob Sherland, Bill Jordan, David Mackey,

$50 of Oct 28 race winnings: 07, 01, 1, 2, 3, 5, 10, 11, 15, 18, 19, 20, 22, 23, 24, 27, 29L, 33,
38, 48, 50, 53, 55, 66, 70, 71, 72, 74, 78, 85, 88, 94, 97. The following have not renewed:
4, 7, 8, 14, 17, 29G, 77, l84, 89. 2007 Membership Forms are on TexasProSedans.com for those who didn’t complete on October 28. To assure you receive your preference of car number, mail the 2007 form with applicable dues payment. Note: Car numbers held by 2006 full time members will be protected till December 25, 2006. After Christmas, all un-renewed car numbers will be issued on a first come basis.
2007 RULES & CHANGES: Projected rules changes are summarized in Oct 28 Race Results Newsletter. Needed changes
were based on 2006 season demonstrated performance and a need to maintain equity in races
as TPS moves into it’s 32nd season. 2007 Rules distributed Nov 11 and mailed on Nov 12.
2007 SCHEDULE: The contracted schedule is 8 races at San Antonio Speedway and several at Thunder Hill Raceway pending a signed contract with THR. The first race @ SAS - March 3, 2007.
