John, Mary Ann did a wonderful job of pulling off a great show. I loved every second of it until..... The #12 Thunderstock of J.Wayne broke... The deely-whopper on the what-ya-ma-call-it was making a terrible clanking noise... I was glad to see the 115 in the Pro Late Model Class finish well. Plenty of great racing action, and more to come soon, the THR Spectacular is coming up here pretty darn quick. Mindy

Randy, Let me know for sure that your coming to the Spectacular, and I'll have a dozen of those donuts for ya! J. Kell called me yesterday and said he MIGHT run a truck there, and I think of course that is great. I do however have a , How does driving the truck compare to driving the car? Jason is a talented driver and I dont doubt his abilities, so he should do well, just wondering about the major diff between the two (duh, and dont say ones a truck and ones a car)

Jason's car, and the trucks are built on the same metric chassis. I imagine while there would be some different characteristics as with a higher center of gravity in a truck, opposed to Jason's car, they will be very close to the same, seeing as Jason's car sits up high as well... and good news my car "sold" will be out there next year in a new street stock..... or an old revamped one....

Randy - what does your week look like next week? This week is a little crazy for me with stuff every day. I'm waiting on the wires, should get them tomorrow, and then I should have the inline 6 - 3 on tha tree fired up by the weekend. Mindy - I told Jason he could drive my other truck if he helped put the body back on and put the transmission in. Both of us on the track would be cool. The trucks are a lot lighter than say Jason's car and the ass end tends to get a little loose in the middle of the turn, but loose is fast right?!?! So if someone is used to driving a tight, or pushing car driving a truck will be a new experience. Also, Ward is going to be driving his truck as well, so it'll be a busy busy next 2 weeks for me

John...... wow..... seems as though you have your hands full with a ton of work to get done on those trucks. Seeing you guys out on the track together would be great. REALLY REALLY wish we could talk your dad into racing. I really miss seeing him out there. Always brightened my day at the races when I knew he was going to race. Hope all goes well on getting the trucks together, and hope to see ya at the track.
And thanks for the info on the diff between the truck and the car. Its one of those things I have to ask because I honestly didnt know how different they would/could be.

Oh well, things didn't come together as usual. Guess we're looking at '08. Hopefully THR has some off-season practice dates. We might be in the stands tonite, dunno yet. We might just stay home and work on the house & shop. <shrug>

John, Sorry to hear that things didnt work out for you and the truck. Did you go and watch? If so, quite an interesting truck race/duel. I dont know alot about racing, BUT I do know this..... SOME people who have race cars/trucks should think seriously about turing them into demo cars/trucks, because I saw A FEW of people who had NO RESPECT for their cars/trucks, much less the guys around them that were ACTUALLY trying to race. Using your car/truck as a battering ram is something I just dont get. Call me STUPID, but tearing up your own crap, and others around you, does not make a RACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
