If you didnt stay to see the mechanics race......you missed out!
That #555 car and Dennis Hilla put on quite a show.... BUT..... the next class of cars that raced..... Mr. Jason Stanleys sport mod, driven expertly around the track was certainly IMPRESSIVE! I believe that Greg Rohmer was driving, and if that is the case, I DO BELIEVE that he NEEDS a dirt car to drive.
Congrats to Jason Kelly on his second place finish. He was a force to be reckoned with. He put up one hell of a fight racing young Mr. Mares. You'll get him next time Jason.
I'd also like to say, Chris McLendon a.k.a "Chris McSizzle" it was so good to see you out there racing again. Once you get the hang of the new car, watch out sport mod guys. Your car is smokin HOT, my friend.
Randy Borlace.... what can I say? You were tearing it up. Ok a little crappy luck with the flat, but had you not had one....Damn man, dont sell that car. I am sure PROUD of you.
Congrats to ALL who raced last night, no matter where you placed. There was some mighty fine racin going on.

It is the most fun I have ever had in a racecar, 2nd race back in 3 years, and leading some laps. If i can somehow get some new rubber, and the plug wires I need, the SS boys better watch out. oh yeah... anyone got a 4412 for sale CHEAP? I have to return the one i'm borrowing to Danny pretty soon, and need to get something quick.

Mindy, did ya'll run too? Sounds like it was a helluva night! Awesome ! (oh I'm not supposed to say that in front of Ces for awhile... guess I say it too much I'm glad to hear the racing was good. If Greg Rhomer drove in the mechanics race then damnit I really wish I could've gone! Thar should be a rule against that! hehe & Randy I appreciate the ride offer! I'm glad & proud my uncle Pat is back out there, he's the "original criminal" ya know. This whole Kelly Racing ordeal is his fault Oh... and thanks! Congrats to my cousin Patrick on his win and my brother's great run finishing 2nd. Jason.. if you need someone to get that car to the front, just let me know hehehe j/k. I'm glad it was a good night for racing and that I-37 put on a great show. Just from hearing chatter, it seems things ran pretty smoothly and the racing was great. Great job ya'll. Sounds like a helluva lot more fun than clearing land. I was gracious enough to have a couple of my buddies "volunteer" to help me clear some trees, burn brush, & cut fire wood. I honored my part of the bargain by providing all the brisket & beer they wanted. It proved to be a fun & productive, but tiresome couple of days. Why does my head hurt? Anyhow, I was glad to be able to help out with the mechanics races. Cassie, when it comes around again just lemme know. The same goes for other "special" races like powderpuff races, backward races, snowmobile races... ya get the picture.

John, Nope the #29 did not run. Harleys schedule at work clashes with the race schedule. He doesnt get off work till seven and gets home around eight. By the time we get from here to the track..... sometimes we just barely make the start of the purestock main.
BUT.... He recently got selected "TEAM LEADER" and with that comes a shift change. So as soon as he is through with his training for that that position, his schedule will not clash with the races anymore, so my old clunker will be out at the track again.
Greg R. was flying in that sport mod. You missed quite a show John.
Get some goats, they will clear the land for you. They cant do much on the cutting of the firewood issue.
Randy..... I did not get your race on tape, I thought I had, but "SOMEONE" forgot to charge the battery fully, and I guess wthats why the darn camera kept flipping out. Jason gave the what for about my filming abilities anyway. When we got the carmera, I DIDNT READ THE INSTRUCTIONS, just took it out of the box and started using it, well the dang thing is set up for auto focus and with the cars running like they do, the auto focus kicks in, and some of it gets all blurry. I am in the process of hunting down the book so I can figure out how to get it OFF auto focus.
